Lecture = 3 x 13 = 39 hours
Tutorial = 0.5 x 13 x 0.66 = 4 hours
Lab = 0.5 x 13 x 0.33 = 2 hours
Total = 39 + 4 + 2 = 45 hours
* Please note that self-study is not to be included in the calculation of contact hours.
Compensation of Contact Hours or Credits
In the event that student submits a module mapping but does not meet the minimum contact hours (for students going SEP before AY2017/18) or credit requirements (for students going SEP from AY2017/18 onwards), student will have to compensate for the shortfall.
How the compensation works?
However, please note that compensation is only for ME to ME modules. Students are not allowed to use UEM or other faculty modules to compensate for the shortfall.
