A/Prof Manoj Gupta receives “Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award”

NUS ME Associate Professor Manoj Gupta was awarded with the prestigious “Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award” in a glittering ceremony held at the India International Centre, New Delhi, on 14 January 2017. The award is named after the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who was an excellent scientist, researcher and champion for the poor.

The award is managed by The India International Friendship Society (IIFS), and is conferred to successful meritorious individuals of Indian origin who have specialized in various fields such as science and technology, education, industry, fine arts, politics and social work.
